My Story

This is the story behind Return to the Self. I share some of my own journey, the experiences that shaped this work, and why understanding our nervous system and protective patterns has become such an important part of my life.

It’s around 18 minutes long, so there’s no rush. Listen whenever it feels right. I hope that, somewhere within my story, you may begin to recognise something of your own.

About me

How I Work

I'm a wellbeing practitioner, but my work isn't easily defined by a single label.

I’ve spent over 30 years supporting people to reconnect with themselves, and more than two decades working as a teacher and kinesiologist. Over time, this has evolved into a simple, grounded approach that works with the nervous system to help people return to a more settled, clear way of being.

This work isn’t about fixing or forcing change.

It’s about creating the conditions for your system to feel safe enough to settle—so that clarity, insight, and a natural sense of direction can begin to emerge.

People often describe the work as calming, deeply settling, and unlike anything they've experienced before.

I work with people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves—whatever that looks like for them.

Often, they are thoughtful, capable, and self-aware, but something no longer feels quite right.

Together, we slow things down, bring awareness back into the body, and begin create the conditions for a steadier, more connected way of being to emerge.

From there, things begin to shift.

You may notice yourself responding differently, making clearer decisions, and beginning to move forward in a way that feels more like you—without forcing it.

This is where growth happens naturally.

Not because you’re pushing for change, but because you’re no longer held in the same patterns.

This work is offered through one-to-one sessions, group spaces, and an online pathway that you can move through in your own time.

If this resonates with something in you, I'd love to hear from you. I'll respond personally, and together we can explore whether this feels like the right next step for you.
