You don’t need to prepare,
and you don’t need to do this perfectly.
You simply begin to notice what’s happening,
and allow yourself to pause instead of automatically responding.
Over time, the system begins to recognise that it no longer needs to rely on these patterns in the same way.
And from there, space begins to open.
